The 36-year-old was caught in a vehicular crash in the Lagos area on the 29th of December, a tragic incident that resulted in the deaths of two of his close associates.
Joshua had been under observation while recuperating from non-critical injuries, representatives had said on Monday. The Lagos state commissioner for information, Gbenga Omotoso, announced via a post on X that Joshua was deemed clinically fit to leave and heal privately.
“Joshua and his mother were at the mortuary in Lagos this afternoon to offer their condolences to his two friends who passed away as they were being prepared for repatriation,” the official remarked.
The victims of the crash were identified as Latif Ayodele, a fitness coach, and Sina Ghami, a conditioning specialist. The official further stated that the champion was filled with sorrow and full of emotions over the loss of his two close friends.”
This update on his health follows the sports world had expressed condolences for the fighter in the aftermath of the terrible crash.
