Prolific children's author and comedian David Walliams has parted ways with his longtime publishing house, as confirmed by the firm.
An official for the firm commented: "Following a thorough review, and under the leadership of its new CEO, HarperCollins UK will not be releasing future works by David Walliams."

The publisher has not elaborated on the motivations for this action, adding: "We refrain from speaking about confidential company decisions."
Walliams ranks among Britain's most prolific writers for young readers, boasting over more than 60 million copies internationally in five dozen languages.
