Trump's Granddaughter Gets Expert Tips from Golf Legend Woods Ahead of LPGA Debut

Young golfer getting ready for major competition

This young athlete boasts impressive social media presence

The young golfer will have multiple prominent supporters as she makes her LPGA debut this Thursday.

The 18-year-old athlete, who is the granddaughter of a former US president, received a sponsor's invitation to compete at Florida's Annika event in Florida.

The former president, a passionate golfer, owns several golf courses and frequently matches against Kai.

"He's pretty good. I can't say much but we play some close matches," she stated.

The golfer shared that Trump, who won't be present, counseled her: "Simply stay calm."

"My grandpa essentially told me to play and enjoy myself," she explained.

"To me, he's simply a regular grandfather. He won't be there this weekend. He's busy with world affairs, so he's rather occupied."

Being non-professional, the golfer has competed in just three tournaments in 2024 and has position 461 in AJGA standings.

But she's able to get advice from Tiger Woods, in a relationship with Kai's mother.

"He represents the best player globally," the young golfer said.

"Furthermore, he's a more impressive individual. He told me to play, relax, following the flow."

The golfer will compete against multiple top competitors in professional golf at the competition, such as world number two Nelly Korda, British golfer Hull, professional Thompson and last year's winner champion Vu.

Officials mentioned that involving Kai helps introduce golf to wider groups, particularly among younger fans.

The young star has a massive following and just introduced a personal clothing and lifestyle company.

Her first tee time at late afternoon GMT.
